Marketing & PR Responsibilities

• Planning and administering the marketing budget of the organization.
• Creating, maintaining and executing an annual marketing calendar for all the brands in consultation with the brand team and the principals
• Ensuring all activities are executed in alignment with the promotional calendar across all brands.
• Planning and executing programs, campaigns, and activities to promote the company’s brands.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of the company’s public relations strategy and brand positioning across all business sectors.
• Promoting products and services through targeted advertising campaigns, offers, and discounts to attract and retain customers.
• Developing and managing a marketing database including client data, mailing lists, promotional history, and access to reporting tools.
• Meeting with print media representatives to build a strong media network.
• Coordinating with mall management for promotional participation and advertising opportunities.
• Managing all in-store signage and promotional displays.
• Liaising and networking with colleagues, suppliers, and brand principals regarding daily marketing activities.
• Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing ads in press (local, regional, national, and specialized publications) and on radio.
• Overseeing the production of marketing materials including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, and e-newsletters.
• Sending SMS and email campaigns to customer databases during promotions.
• Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, receptions, and press days.
• Developing PR strategies, writing press releases, and building strong media relations.

Online & Digital Marketing

• Planning, managing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) to maximize ROI and brand visibility.
• Overseeing content strategy, creation, and scheduling for all social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Managing the company’s websites and e-commerce platforms, ensuring up-to-date content, SEO optimization, and smooth user experience.
• Executing and tracking performance of email marketing campaigns.
• Monitoring digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights) to evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Implementing and overseeing SEO and SEM strategies to increase website traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Managing influencer marketing collaborations, digital partnerships, and affiliate marketing programs.
• Ensuring consistent brand messaging across all online channels.
• Engaging with online communities and responding to customer inquiries, feedback, and reviews in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.

• 7-8 years of relevant work experience in the PR/Marketing field with at least 2 years of managerial experience. Retail experience preferred.
• Master’s degree in Media/ Business communication/ Marketing is preferred.

• Responsible to manage the department on a day-to-day basis whilst balancing strategic goals of the Company and to handle all aspects of the store operations in line with Company objectives.

• To meet the targets or to ensure that procedures are in place, driving them, monitoring and putting corrective actions in place, when necessary, for Security, Shrinkage, Cash-desk management, Administration management as well as Health and Safety.

• Use commercial information and product knowledge to drive sales and other activity in the store using the internal tools provided.

• Drive marketing initiatives and sales performance and manage the budget of hours in the store effectively.

• Design the ideal Rota to ensure staff coverage in the store at all times.

• Be well aware of the Competitors, involve and create / manage relationships and / or do Competitor Shopping giving relevant feedback to appropriate parties such as product managers, regional managers and teams.

• Control stationary, cleaning, telephone, post, maintenance, uniforms and travel costs and make sure these are in line with Company budgets.

• Follow the minimums of customer service consistently and drive the team to ensure that these minimums are maintained across the store and ensure high level of customer service is offered in the store leading by example, and drive, monitor and support customer service action plans as well as to train the team in providing excellent customer service.

• Manage customer issues as they arise and thrive for Customer satisfaction.

• Have clear, timely and effective communication with Head Office, Product Managers, Regional Manager and/or Commercial Directors and with the store overall with the relevant follow-ups.

• Minimum of High school certificate with fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic

• Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment and compile records of supply transactions.
• Verify that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices. Sort and place inventory in storage areas according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
• Keep records of materials or items (including surplus materials) received or distributed in accordance with established procedure. Maintain weekly cycle counts of all stocked items and compile stock report on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure that all work-areas are clean and well maintained.
• Ensure sure that garment care is carried out allowing for the product to reach the sales floor in the best possible condition.
• Check stock daily to ensure that all products are adequately stocked and available for disposal.
• Maintain security of items in the store.
• Fill requisitions for materials and assists in inventory taking.
• Inspect materials received for quantity and condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively drive sales by implementing sales building initiatives across the three departments (Women, Men and Kids) through effective analysis of the company commercial reports and visual layout.

• Support the Department Managers to keep monitoring the budget.

Ensure the profit and productivity goals are met by contributing towards the management of payroll hours, sales and P&L.

• Determine the strategy of the store, always striving to maximize sales and Store opportunities.

• Supervise managers for controlling and managing stock, product rotation, orders and devolutions alongside the product manager in Spain.

• Up to date knowledge about current industry trends and to constantly analyze the competitor’s product and market in order to be able to maximize sales.

• Manage and maintain the relationship and communication with Product Departments in the Central Office in Spain.

• Promote participatory management style and ensure a positive working environment exists within all the departments in the store.

• To work with HR in order to create and have actions plans in place for succession in the three departments.

• Identify potential talent for the three departments, also being aware about vacancies and opportunities in other stores.

• Ensure a high level of customer service standards are consistently attained in the store in the three departments.

• Ensure the store is compliant with all company initiatives.

Online Operations & Coordination

• Monitor and ensure all online processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines including online KPIs related to iPod sales, e-tickets, online customer service, SINT areas in stores, and consumable stock levels.
• Support the implementation of country-specific online projects, ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives.
• Partner with the Talent Development team to design, deliver, and evaluate online training programs and related initiatives.
• Liaise with the Operation Manager and Brand partners to address all country-level online inquiries, operational concerns, process issues, and system errors.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare periodic reports capturing operational challenges, system errors, incident trends, and customer feedback.
• Compile and share weekly performance reports on online sales, highlighting insights and opportunities for improvement.

Packing Station & Logistics Management

• Oversee all picking and packing activities, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company standards.
• Act as the primary liaison for the Packing Station Supervisor, addressing and resolving operational challenges promptly.
• Liaise directly with logistics providers (e.g., Aramex, Shipa) to prevent delivery delays, manage incidents, and escalate reports to both local providers and Spain when required.
• Manage online returns, ensuring items are processed and published as per Company Standard Operating procedure.

Team Management

• Lead and inspire the team to maintain high motivation, engagement, retention and operational excellence.
• Ensure at all times the efficient usage of hours in the packing station and liaise with Operations Manager for the same during events. (Sale / Black Friday)
• Maintain regular communication with the management team regarding personnel updates and product-related matters.

• 2-3 years of similar professional experience in an operational role.
• Relevant knowledge of the Retail Industry with fast pace business model.
• Proven ability to control cost and streamline operational processes.
• Solid team management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office & especially Excel
